Yep- you read that correctly, I introduced a bill in the House of Representatives yesterday. I'm still trying to let that soak in... Up until I applied for this program, I never in a million years would have even ventured to guess I would say those words. It can be real easy to sit back and be comfortable, especially as you get older. This whole experience is me stepping WAY outside my comfort zone, and I can already feel I am growing as a teacher, but more importantly as a person. So dream big! Shove your fears and insecurities aside and make a leap of faith. My journey here in DC has just begun, but it's one of the best decisions I have ever made. Believe in yourself and never give up!
